IsraelStartupNetwork helps startups achieve their goals --- by bringing them the information, connections, and opportunities they need --- to make it happen.
We hold educational and networking events, send notifications regarding relevant information and opportunities, partner with organizations whose services and products can assist our members, and contribute to the general ecosystem in ways that make it easier for startups to be funded and succeed.
We look forward to seeing you at our events and in our discussions.

Originally from Miami, Florida, USA, I worked as a medical librarian at the Mount Sinai Medical Center and at the Papanicolaou Cancer Research Institute. I was also the Managing Editor at Hopkins Publications, my family’s publishing business. We put out two monthly publications for the building industry - The Florida Contractor and Builder and The Pan American Trader. Putting a paper to bed every two weeks helped prepare me for the pressures and deadlines of the startup world.
Currently, I’m the Founder/Director of Tech River, a company providing services for Israel’s High Tech and Export Communities - mainly business development, marketing, marketing communications, and business plans (narrative).
I’m also the organizer of the IsraelStartupNetwork on Meetup. (www.meetup.com/IsraelStartupNetwork) I caught the startup bug in 1995 while at PowerDsine (now Microsemi Israel), an incredible two years during which I became part of a warm, wonderful, and very hard-working family. I participated in most of the company’s early-stage experiences, and, despite working 12 and 14 hours at a stretch, I sang (off key) every day on the way to work.
